So I did lead them there and they handled it.

But Wolverine didn't want to just let me go afterwards, even after I helped him.

So he killed me.

[He pauses, as if for dramatic effect.]

Or he thought that he did.

I used my skills again and he instead killed one of the villain's henchmen while I escaped. None of them knew the difference.

So that was how that fight went. I faked my death so they'd leave me alone and that he'd just return home satisfied.
