Not knocked off so much as smashed. Spider-Man has a tendency to smash it while I'm still wearing it. Very inconvenient.

Well, I'm not always using smoke or gasses so that isn't a danger. But it doesn't help my face or my equipment.

I haven't seen the Spider-Man I know from back home here but I suspect that there are two of his alternates running around the city.

Of course!!! What kind of asshole smashes someone’s helmet while they’re still wearing it before they even know what’s going on!? At the very least I’d give them a piece of my mind!
